The time of manually creating multiple Lookalike Audiences is over. With our newest Automatic Audience Creator, you can automate this creation process. Create Lookalike Audiences of all audiences of a specific source audience type at once. Easily edit, copy and delete your newly created audience automation. In the end, this new feature will make your workflow much more efficient and ultimately will save you time.

Create Lookalike Audiences automatically

Do you create Lookalike Audiences on a regular basis? Do you feel like wasting your time by having to constantly create multiple Lookalike Audiences over and over again? We just made your workflow more efficient by releasing the Automatic Audience Creator. From now on, you can automate this process and bulk create multiple Lookalike Audiences at the same time, all automatically.

What are Lookalike Audiences?

To give you a short recap – Lookalike Audiences are created to help you reach people who are similar to (or ‘look like’) an audience that you as an advertiser care about. To be able to create a Lookalike Audience, you need a source audience, which can be a list of your current customers using a CRM connection or people who have engaged with your business (in case of an engagement audience).

What is the new Automatic Audience Creator about?

Instead of having to create Lookalike Audiences for a particular source audience one by one manually, you can now use our new Automatic Audience Creator to automatically create Lookalike Audiences in bulk based on a source audience type in your brand.

How does it work?

You can find the Automatic Audience Creator on the left hand side of our control panel under audiences. First, set a name for your audience automation. Then select one of the following source audience types:

  • Custom Audience
  • Website Audience
  • Remote Audience
  • Product Audience
  • Mobile app Audience
  • Engagement Audience

Apply filters to your audience (e.g. countries) and set a ratio with a scale from 0 to 20 depending on how similar you want your new Lookalike Audiences to be to your source audience (0 being very similar to your source audience, 20 being not so similar to your source audience). This scale you won’t find on Facebook, so make sure you make use of our broad, unique scale. Fill out the Description form to remind yourself what your new audience is about.

Once you have customised your settings, you can decide whether you want this audience to be enabled right away or want to save it for later. The only thing you need to do is define and set some parameters and let the system automatically build the Lookalike Audiences.

When you hit confirm, the automatic process of creating Lookalike Audiences starts. Once the audience automation has been created and is enabled, it is scheduled to run every night.

Alternatively, you can also run it manually by hitting the build button. Once a Lookalike Audience for a specific source audience has been created, it will never create a Lookalike Audience with the exact same settings again. It will only check for new source audiences matching the settings in your audience automation.

How can you benefit from it?

Instead of having to manually create single Lookalike Audiences, you can from now on automate the process and bulk create Lookalike Audiences for all your audiences per source audience type.
